Launched First Mobile device Running OS UbuntuOS

(Technewonline) Canonical is the company managing capital of UbuntuOS recently released smartphones running Ubuntu complete. Devices configured midrange, cheap and equipped with a new operating system.


Different from the previous estimate, Meizu is not the manufacturer of the first Ubuntu Phone although the information leakage before the relationship between the two companies is very good. Even appeared leaked images Meizu MX4 run UbuntuOS but that did not really happen.


Canonical (the company managing UbuntuOS) was officially launched mobile devices running its operating system called Ubuntu Edition BQ Aquaris E4.5. This device segment only 190 USD cheap and mid-range configuration from MediaTek chipsets. Total sales of E4.5 Aquaris is also limited to the time the product is sold in Europe is quite short, and only those who have registered on Facebook or Twitter to receive information about the time of sale.


Configuration, the device runs from MediaTek chip quad-core processor, 4.5-inch touch screen, resolution qHD (540 x 960 pixels). It has 8GB of internal memory, support MicroSD memory card slot, 1GB Ram.
