When Laptop Users Do Not Know The Router's Signal Or Extend The Scope Set

When Laptop Users Do Not Know The Router's Signal

(Technewonline) Router is not my strong enough to cover the entire house, so I was fitted with a range extender. But when I move from one part to another part of the house, my laptop is not connected to the nearest signal and loss of life. Could you say what do I do?

If you bring laptops, tablets or smart phones throughout the house with multiple access points (such as routers, range extenders), the device will connect to the access point strongest signal - usually the most recent. Therefore, in theory, it would be constantly connected when you move from room to room. But the reality is not quite so.

When you expand the scope of a Wi-Fi network, you are actually creating Wi-Fi network Monday. You can make the whole system work like a large network by placing the same name (also called SSID) and password for each access point. That way, you only have to set your device to access a Wi-Fi network.

But sometimes, when you move from one room to another, the device will continue to try to connect to access points that were previously ignored nearby access point.

Here are two possible solutions to solve the problem:

When Laptop Users Do Not Know The Router's Signal 1

1. First, when this happens, turn off Wi-Fi connectivity of the device off, then on again. Windows computer you can have the hardware switch to turn on/off Wi-Fi. If not, click the Wi-Fi icon in the notification area> fast right-click your network> select Disconnect. Next, do it again, but this time, select Connect.

When connected, the laptop or device you use to access point SSID search strongest.

2. If this is not done doing (or not doing continuous), change the SSID on set expansion. See set documentation for how to expand how.

This enables laptops and other devices that you have two separate networks. Then, you must configure all laptops, smartphones, and its tablet use both 2 network. This way, if you move around the house and see your device connected to the access point is not correct, you can move on.
